tennis rox!!

OPINION ESSAY

Think of yourself with a tennis racket and a ball in your hands. Ya, well, that's me and it's called tennis! So here is why I think tennis is such an awesome sport!!

I think tennis is fun because you can hit the ball as hard as you want. Also, you play with a racket and I say that's fun because in most sports you just play with a ball; such as a basketball. One other thing why tennis is such an awesome sport is that for the people who watch the games it can be very interesting. What I mean by that is if you have ever seen a tennis match the players hit really hard so the other person can't even touch it. They also might have a rocket serve (which means it is really fast) or they could have a really long rally.

Tennis is not a complicated game. For example, in basketball you have to remember all of your plays, but not in tennis. Some things you do have to remember are to keep the ball on the court and get your serve in the right spot but other from that, you're fine. Oh ya, one important thing you should do is be on your feet and ready because you don't know where the ball is going to go next.

My last reason is if you don't like lots of people on the court at a time (like me) this is a good sport for you. You have space to hit the ball instead of like basketball where everyone goes for the ball at the same time! You also get more action when you're just on the court. Like I said, it's more of an independent sport!

Now, after all those really good reasons of why you should play tennis, will you play? Well, it's your choice, but I do encourage you to at least try it because you will never know if you like it until you try!
